Yesterday was a very trying day for me. It was one of those days were I really wanted to drink a couple Saigon Red beers or 5-6 whiskey with cokes. I was so tempted. Over three weeks ago I would have done it.
Without getting into details, I was betrayed yesterday though I had known about it for some time. Yesterday was the first time I had to come to grips and face it. I felt devastated and I really wanted to vent out. Alcohol was one way for me to do it the last 6 years here. I did not care I was a Muslim, I still drank…
Yet, I did not drink the Saigon Red or whiskey with coke. I met friends last night, I could have easily gotten a bottle of beer but I did not.
